2009 Spring Conference Highlights

MACPO’s 52nd annual spring conference
May 20th and May 21st, 2009
Breezy Point Resort
MACPO’s 52nd annual spring conference was held at Breezy Point
Resort near Brainerd, MN. Training tracks included: Collateral Consequences,
DHS Mental Health Screening Project, Effective Case Management, Female
Sex Offenders, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, MI-CD Co-Occurring Disorders,
Predatory Offender Registration, Responding & Working with Stalking
Victims, and “We'll Take 10 of Your Boys if You Take 1 of Our
Girls.” Although the conference was only two days, there was
a good turnout of probation officers and vendors on display. A big
thank you to the Training and Education Committee for a doing a great
job and putting the conference together.
