Prairie Lakes is a Juvenile Facility serving boys and girls,
ages 10 to 19.
Through a combination of cognitive based programming and behavioral
accountability, Prairie Lakes Youth Programs aims to give
young people the tools they need to live a better life.
Chemical Dependency treatment programming is available in
house provided on an outpatient basis in all programs. This
is provided by C.A.R.E. of Willmar, MN.
Prairie Lakes School is provided and operated by the Willmar
School District. Education is provided on site and is year
around.

We provide non-secure services for the
protection of youth for pre-adjudicatory purposes as well as
psychological evaluations and post-dispositional programming.
We have a 16-bed facility for m/f youth ages 10-17. We
offer a variety of programming with year round on site school
with academic evaluation and educational programming.

Southwestern Youth Services is a non-secure
treatment facility for male youth ages 10 - 19. SYS offers
several programs to assist youth when they return to society.
On-site school program that meets MN education standards.
Initial transportation provided by SYS.
